"Brighter" is the fourth track off of Paramore's first album All We Know is Falling and was written by Hayley Williams and Josh Farro.

The song Brighter is about an incident that occurred on May 23, 2005, when Hayley Williams was on a boat trip with her friend Lanie Kealhofer. During the trip, an accident occurred causing Lanie Kealhofer to drown at the age of 16. This song is dedicated to her memory and though she may be gone she still shines brighter than anyone.
