"‘Decoy’ was about this kid that I dated… actually, two guys that I dated when I was younger and I knew I didn’t like them, but I really liked them as friends and I liked hanging out with them. And I kind of liked this other guy a lot better, so I dated these other guys to see if I could, sort of, like someone else… it didn’t work out. But, if it weren’t for one of those guys, I wouldn’t know some of the bands that I really like now, like American Nightmare and, I don’t know, even AFI actually."
