"In the Mourning" is a song performed by Paramore from the Singles Club EP. It was released as the EP's fourth and final single on December 5, 2011.
Hayley Williams posted lyrics on her Tumblr for a song called "In the Mourning". Hayley and Taylor York then posted a video on Paramore.net where they performed a short demo of the song. The song was later posted on Fueled By Ramen's YouTube channel.

'In the Mourning' is the first song that came after the departure of the Farro brothers. Hayley Williams said that the song is about “letting a part of you go or die and the struggle of doing so.” The song is also heavily inspired by the Fleetwood Mac song 'Landslide' Which Paramore performs live with 'In the Mourning'
