Josh Farro, born Joshua Neil Farro on September 29th 1987 (age 23), in Voorhees, New Jersey, and brother of former drummer Zac Farro. He was Paramore's first lead guitarist and backing vocalist for Paramore. Josh and Zac left the band together, after month's of thinking. Josh posted a message on Paramore.net stating he had become engaged, and was staying behind on the upcoming Pacific Rim Tour to plan his wedding and will be replaced by rhythm guitarist Taylor York's brother Justin York. He returned to Paramore for the ongoing Spring Tour.

Departure

On December 18th, it was announced via Paramore.net that Josh and Zac had departed the band, no specific reasons were stated. It was announced that the band was still going to move forward, with the trio of Hayley, Jeremy, and Taylor. A South American tour is taking place next year, and the next album cycle has begun.

On December 21st, Josh, via his personal blog, Telestai, formally wrote out he and Zac's opinion, under the alias of "Exit Statement", stating the blog post on the website was not approved by him. He recounted their views of the band's history, which seemed much more turbulent then ever thought. A few days later, he recorded a personal video, confirming the blog was true, and from him, albeit it did not please many people. Josh stated that he does not know if he is going to continue in the music career. Zac Farro already joined a side project named "Tunnel", with a childhood friend.

Personal Life

Josh and Hayley Williams dated for three years, but broke up in the fall of 2007 because they felt it would interfere with the music. He then briefly dated a girl named Tabitha, then a girl named Jenna Rice. On April 3rd, 2010, he married Jenna. The band was invited to the wedding.
