"My Hero" is a cover of the Foo Fighters song "My Hero" which was recorded and released for the film Superman Returns. It would later be included in the Rhapsody release of Riot!. It was also featured on the The B-Sides bootleg in 2008.

"My Hero" was originally released January 19, 1998, on the Foo Fighters album The Colour and the Shape and it's one of their most popular songs.
It is unknown why Paramore decided to cover this song other than the theme of heroism which ties into the theme of Superman Returns which song was created for.
"My Hero" was re-released on July 13, 2023 retitled "My Hero (Acoustic)" along with "My Hero (Electronic Mix)" onto streaming services.
