"Stop This Song (Lovesick Melody)" is a song originally intended for Paramore's second album Riot! but was cut, however, it was put onto United Kingdom release of the album.
This song features Taylor York and his brother Justin York on guitars before they would even become touring members of Paramore.

"It was around the time when Avril had just come out, and there were a bunch of copycats, solo artists, young girls that looked punky and they were backed by a band. I guess (the guys) were kind of afraid that we were gonna get that… that whole comparison. And they were right though because I also looked that way, I wore baggy pants… I guess they were just nervous it would look like Avril Lavigne part II. I came over one day to the rehearsals just to write with them and as soon as we all started playing together we played one of the first songs we ever wrote, which is now the song titled 'Stop This Song'"
